Once the head of the family and today the epicenter of what we strive to become through values ​​that two generations later remain guides in everything we do. A friendly and open-hearted man, what we call "outside the heart". A worker of the land, a tavern keeper, a wine and gastronomy lover, a great storyteller, an eco-friendly donkey driver, and a wonderful grandfather.

The "Teacher" Period

Thodoris Mavrias, also known as "Teacher" due to his main profession, is the man who envisioned what Mavrias Organics is today and worked to make it a reality. In 2000, he began the implementation of organic agricultural practices on the family's farmland and the process of transitioning them to organic farming. To this day, he remains the guardian of the quality of every last drop of olive oil that goes into each bottle. Next to him is another teacher, without whom none of this would be possible, his wife, Yianna.
 

Over the years, these two people have not just developed a business. They also raised their 3 sons, who now work together to lead the business into its next era and onto even more shelves around the world.

Our roots, figuratively and literally, lie in the Argolida region. Half an hour outside of Nafplio, in the village of Velanidia, you can find most of our olive groves as well as our business operations center.

There, you will find our privately owned laboratory testing, storage, bottling and standardization facilities for our products, as well as our certified organic orange, tangerine, apricot and peach cultivation areas, which we also market as fresh.
